In 2015, Canadian Solar acquired Recurrent Energy, thus becoming one of the top world solar energy developer. By the end of September 2020, The Company and its subsidiaries have cumulatively connected around 6 GW of solar power plants to the grid, 1.3GW solar plants in operation, and have over 16.3 GW project pipeline and backlog .
